Irritated!!!

I was having a bloody headache, and to make things worse, had to get stuck in a bloody jam..and now have something damn annoying to deal with!

When something comes knocking on your door, shutting the door won’t solve it. How I wish it would!

Right now all I want to do is shut the damn door at something/someone/some idea/problem and never see it again.

How unfortunate that life doesn’t work that way…

Maybe it’s time for me to wake up and GROW up…. but I don’t want to…..:(

Anyway, according to Forbes, the No.1 top paying job for women happens to be…….

The King of Pop Is Dead

MJ passed away this morning. He reportedly collapsed in his LA home at around 4.00 am Malaysian time, due to a cardiac arrest. He then went into a coma and later passed away. Some of you may have been fans and some not..Never the less, you definately have heard of him.

May he be remembered for his music and not his personal life.

May he rest in peace.

The week is ending!! Yay!!

What a week!

Tomorrow is the last day of the first week! Yay!

Although it was only the first week, I’m already looking forward to the weekend..

Should I go watch Transformers on Saturday or should I go shopping?? Hmmm?? How to decide??

Anyway, I don’t know if it’s true or not but I heard that got H1N1 case in Vista. The thought of it is kinda scary. I’m planning on bringing my Dettol Hand Sanitizer tomorrow..call  me paranoid but the last thing I want is to be quarantined!I would advise those of you staying there to do the same as well.. I’m also glad that there are those alcohol hand cleaners on most of the floors..Now I can keep my hands bac free most of the time. =)

This semester has a lot of guided reading..so much of self study to do… *sighs*

Stampede in IMU

It was around 2.10pm, we were at the first floor, lounging around..and suddenly we heard

“BOOM BOOM BOOM!” coming from upstairs

We looked up the escalator and saw people practically jumping from the third floor to the second floor.. which prompted us to RUN to the 2nd floor..and 3 of us were in HIGH HEELS..

Who ever said that you can’t run in high heels, was so wrong! congrats Ai Xin and Chi Lun for making it before us.. You guys can run!

So if you weren’t in IMU at that time, I’m sorry to inform you that you missed the B107 stampede which I think shocked Mr.Adhiyaman. For those of you who caught his expression when he saw us running would know what I mean..:D

Omg! I just got this from E!

They are officially making E! News a Speidi FREE ZONE! Woohoo! I think it is good of them to finally help end Speidi's 15 minutes of fame!!! =D

OK, Moving on to more annoying things.. Isn't anyone else here annoyed with the fact that in this semester, the number of students for each selective is limited?!

I mean, if you are going to do that, then tell me again what's the point in calling it a selective if there is a HIGH chance that we aren't going to get our first choice?

Based on what I have heard from my friends, most of us are interested in a particular selective, and there is also a chance that some of us are going to end up in something we don't even like! And they say 'Choose according to what you like'. How are we suppose to choose according to interest when at the end of the day, if we aren't kiasu enough to claw our way there, we will be allocated to something we aren't even interested in? If this is the way the system works then I think the title of the module should not be "Selective"

I think the idea of allocating a specified number of places for it is ridiculous as all of us here PAID the same amount and I think we all deserve to do what we like not do something because "the places are full". I dunno, to me it just doesn't seem to make any sense at all.

Maybe they are doing it because certain Selectives get very poor response from the students but doesn't that say something? Something which might sound like 'We don't like this topic?'

I think that it is only fair that everyone is given equal opportunity to do what interests us the most. But I don't think we can do anything about it now.. I just can't wait for the evaluation forms for this semester to come..

Holidays!!!

Today is 22/06/09. It marks the end of my fabulous holidays as well as the start of the new semester. I know I haven’t been blogging a lot lately, but that was because I was too busy..

Where do I start?? I’ll start on last Friday. I went for my final shopping spree before Uni starts and do buy more clothes for uni at MidValley. This time around I took my Mom along with me because to me, she is a walking ATM machine. And also, when I want to buy something, she doesn’t really persuade me not to get it, in fact she encourages. =)

We were in MNG and I was trying on clothes and finally decided that I liked 2 out of the million things I tried on. Normally, if I was with a friend, we would choose only one of those 2, but when I’m with my mom, she goes, ‘Take bothla!’..=D

See what I mean?? After much shopping and shoving…(MNG were having sales, so you can imagine how packed and crazy all the women were) we decided to go for lunch, and me being the loving daughter I am, I decided to belanja my mom lunch, since she spent like over RM200 for my clothes..

We headed off the Oh!Sushi. I’m not sure if it is a Japanese restaurant or not cause it has Sushi, but they say its Korean..so I’m confused… but anyway, the food was great!!

I had this thing which I think happens to be Korea’s answer to Yee Mee..

And we also ordered this…

It looked harmless, and since I was eating with chopsticks, I happily took one of those dumpling thingys and put the whole thing in my mouth, and I was chewing it I realised they had wasabi in it..and I’m not exactly a wasabi person..so it was kinda like torture for me..=( But it was delicious! minus the wasabila..

It was spicy and had loads of seafood in it…

We also had kimchi.. =) which in my point of view is Korea’s answer to pickles!! :p

The serving for each dish was kinda large and I din manage to finish my food..but I loved it! =)

Now I’m getting ready for uni..class starts at 1.30pm..I think I’ll leave the house at 12..It’s sad that I only had 5 weeks of holidays while my other friends are holidays which last for months! =(

What a day!!!

I am currently in a state of shock and pain.

The first because of the break up of Justin and Miley as well as Paris and Doug ( well not so much of the latter) and that Miley’s sister was seen hanging out with Justin after he and Miley broke up..hmmm.. Well I choose not to speculate. :)

Oh and I have news for U!! Dear LiLo was seen spending the night at Sam’s place..omg! I think that they might be hooking up again!

 

Now that I’m done with the shock part, I shall start with the pain.

Although I have done this numerous times and regretted doing it, I never seem to be able to learn my lesson! I went shopping in HEELS.

I know, I’m stupid. But I just couldn’t resistla… The heels are too tempting!! Oh and guess what??? I bought a new pair of heels!!! Yay!! They are white and they are HIGH!! A girl can’t get any happier!! :D

And by the way, I totally hate what LiLo is wearing on her feet!! Looks like the ugly shoes I wear for my practical sessions!

Oh Dear Speidi!

Speidi, Speidi, what would the world do without you darlings???

For those of you who don’t watch ‘The Hills"’ or E! News, you probably have no idea who Speidi are. These guys below are Speidi, which actually stands for Spencer and Heidi.

They were recently taking part in this reality show in US called ‘I’m a celebrity…Get Me Out of Here’. It is a show where these celebrities a.k.a. people-who-had-their-15-minutes-of-fame-and-now-want-more go camping in the jungle and the last one standing wins money or something for the charity they are representing.

So the goofballs above quit the show THREE times within like the first 2 days or something like that. I was like ‘What???’ I mean, if you ask me, I’ll say they should be just left there and not rescued cause we don’t have space for idiots in this world. For those who don’t watch ‘The Hills’ you really should. It happens to be my Post-EOS show to watch. Know why? Because watching a bunch of bimbos and idiots on TV make me feel better. So, if you screwed up a paper, don’t fret, just watch ‘The Hills’ and you’ll feel better cause if dumbos like them can survive, you DEFINATELY will be fine, no matter how badly you screwed up you paper. :)

When you are suppose to play for charity, I thought you should at least TRY to stay there, but NO! Honestly, these 2 are the most selfish people in the world! Not only are they NOT celebrities, they THOUGHT that they were POSSESED by the DEVIL and it was THE DEVIL which told them to quit the show. I think we need to remind them that we aren’t dumbos like them. Well, since they are from ‘The Hills’ it is not a surprise. So I guess based on their logic, if I screwed up my exam, it is because THE DEVIL told me to do so. Yea right!

This is Heidi crying cause when they decided to LEAVE the jungle and like WALKED OUT of the jungle, the other contestants kinda like just took their stuff since they aren’t using it anymore. And when the dynamic duo decided to return to the jungle only to discover that their labels were removed from their stuff, Heidi weeps!!! LoL!

And this is Spencer getting all mad at the people there for removing the labels..

These 2 make me happy by making a fool out of themselves.

Let us toast to more stupidity from Speidi!

p/s: Speidi officially quit the show after Heidi was hospitalised for Gastritis. Good for them! :)

A day of food, friends and gossip!

Today was quite a day I would say. I started it off with meeting up with my old school mates because Joanne was going to go off soon to Aussie Land to get her PhD and she might be there for the next 3 years or so. So yea, meeting up was necessary!

It was so fun hanging out with the guys. I mean, we are talking about the people you grew up with as kids.. The ones you fight with one second and are friends with the other..You know, the people who grew up with! Honestly, I’ve known some of these guys since STANDARD ONE. Yea, THAT long. Hanging out with them kinda gives an old blanket feeling. You know, the one where its comfy and nice.

We were makan-ing lunch and giggling and laughing and reminiscing old times together and it was great! Gosh I miss the good ol’ days. :)

We are missing a few others but it was because they unreachable at the moment. So we carried on instead.

You how they say friendship makes prosperity more shining? It is so true. With old friends, even something which isn’t funny becomes funny, and at the end of the day, everybody laughs.

After lunch I reached home and had enough time to shower and change before going for steamboat. Which means another round of stuffing my face with food..I think I forgot to mention that I was stuffed with food during lunch.

So yea, today I ate A LOT and now feel like a PIG.

Now I have to go plan 5 birthdays. Yes. FIVE birthdays…Gosh! There is so much to do!

What is a girl to do…

I have no one at home to bug because my dad,my mom and my brothers are not home. That leaves just Ms.Pumpkin and I all home-alone. And Pumpkin likes to sleep in the morning, AND TV has nothing nice. So what am I suppose to do?

I tried cleaning the house. I swept and mopped the floors, dried the clothes, did some dusting and decided to call it a day when I realised that all that housework only cost me like an hour. What am I suppose to do for the rest of the morning??

Then I remembered the hair band stuff I bought for Pumpkin. I went to this shop ( D’Nata I think) at KLCC and bought all those little flowers and stuff and I was planning on sewing them on to mini rubber bands and use them to tie pumpkin’s hair up. If I buy them at her grooming place, it will cost me RM5 for like 2 bands. So I decided to get creative.. although I’m not a creative person.

So those are the stuff which I needed..excluding thread and needle.

My first attempt was very bad.. Maybe because I don’t usually sew.The results of my 1st attempt looks something like this….

Yea, I know. Its MESSY. And I should have used yellow thread or something but since its only Pumpkin, I don’t think she’ll be complaining..:p

And then I did another one..which in my point of view, was better than the first attempt..

And my finished work looks like….TADA!!!!!!

I know it isn’t like great or anything, but the point is, I made it myself AND it only cost me like RM3.50 for 4! If I bought 4, it would have cost me RM10 or even more..So I’m saving RM6.50 here. Yay!

Now that I’m done with sewing, I think I’m going to bake Carrot cake with Pineapples. I saw it on Sugar yesterday and it looked so yummy. I shall show you some pics when I do it. :)
